GENERAL BILL   by Garcia, R. (CO-SPONSORS) Homan
Pharmacy: Revises pharmacist licensure by endorsement by removing timeframe requirements for passage of nationally recognized examination; provides for registration of pharmacy technicians; requires Board of Pharmacy to set fees & rules to register pharmacy technicians; provides qualification requirements; exempts pharmacy technician students & licensed pharmacy interns from certain registration requirements; provides continuing education requirements for registration renewal; provides grounds for denial, suspension, or revocation of registration or other disciplinary action; authorizes board to impose certain penalties; prohibits person not registered as pharmacy technician from performing certain functions or holding himself or herself out as pharmacy technician; requires board to adopt rules; requires board to maintain directory of registered pharmacy technicians & publish on Internet.
