15 On page 3, following line 31,

17 insert:
18 Section 3. Subsection (6) is added to section 99.095,
19 Florida Statutes, to read:
20 99.095 Petition process in lieu of a qualifying fee
21 and party assessment.--
22 (6) If the candidate obtains at least 50 percent of
23 the required number of signatures as set forth in this section
24 but does not obtain 100 percent of such signatures, the
25 candidate may pay the pro rata portion of the qualifying fee
26 required pursuant to s. 99.092 in order to qualify.
