14 On page 2, lines 16-31, delete those lines

16 and insert:
17 Section 2. The Office of Program Policy Analysis and
18 Government Accountability shall conduct a study to determine
19 the most suitable way for this state's school system to serve
20 gifted students at the high school level. The study shall
21 report on science-based methods of education for gifted
22 students and how other states provide enrichment programs for
23 gifted students at the high school level and must include
24 samples of legislation concerning the establishment of
25 exemplary programs in other states. The study must be
26 submitted to the Governor, the President of the Senate, and
27 the Speaker of the House of Representatives by February 1,
28 2008.
